Hi! My name is Mary Kate, and I am a full spectrum doula and owner of Mother's Rewilding, LLC. After having both of my sons, I quickly realized that there was a large gap in the care, support, and education of women while trying to conceive and during the prenatal and postpartum period. With the combination of less-than-ideal medical support and societal expectations and demands, I found myself feeling more anxious, depressed, and overwhelmed than I expected to be in every stage of motherhood. I was greatly unprepared for the physical and emotional toll this lack of support would take on me, which inevitably pushed me towards becoming a birth and postpartum doula.

 

I am trained as a birth and postpartum doula through DONA, but I am currently pursuing certification/training as an Ayurvedic postpartum doula and a fertility doula. My goal as your doula, regardless of the phase in which you are in, is to provide you with the support system needed to help you adjust to the inevitable ups and downs that come your way. I am there to offer resources, education, and physical/emotional support. Aside from doula work, I also offer Bellibind services to Monmouth and Ocean County, NJ.
